Graphics Card Failing ?

I started up my PC today and weird shit is happening.

Sometimes I see a collection of very tiny colored squares across my screen. And my PC already froze atleast twice while making a hard buzzing kind of sound. I wasn't able to do anything and just to check I waited for 10-15 minutes and it was still frozen.

My PC wasn't hot when it happened though.

Also, I just noticed, I started up my PC again but I didn't start up windows yet (Where you click your profile) and for over an hour my computer was just fine.

What could this possibly mean ?

Maybe update Drivers could help. Did you overclock any parts of your PC?

That's what we call an artifact in Sweden. I'm not sure if it's the same in English, but this is what occurs. It usually only occurs when overclocked, but also when overheating etc.

And yeah, it's a graphics card problem and not RAM/CPU

Couldn't get on my PC for a while. I've taken graphics card out, put it in my bro's PC and we concluded my graphics card had indeed died. I bought a 9800GT now, not too shabby over a 8600GT upgrade (I thought I had a 8800GT, lol).
