oh fuck it then, now i know why i dont usually get much feedback from my help, because i dont know what i'm fucking talking about. sorry, out of practice, will keep my useless ideas to myself from now on :P

Trust me, I have made my fair share of stupid comments and suggestions over at IWN, but the good thing about a stupid comment is that it is always corrected and thus the learning process begins ;)

so the only changes you have made with the map is change the targetnames? I guess thats ok but try adding what luke, drof and I were arguing about as well: worldspawnvalues and a skybox.

there is a skybox, its around the 4 levels of the map, is that wrong?

about the worldspawn, what values should i set?
and what do i need to select, the inside faces of the skybox or something else?

set the values that correspond with whatever map your skybox is from, a list can be downloaded here:

Add all these worlspawn names as values to your map by selecting any btush that is the type worldspawn. (any general brush like a wall will do)

As for skybox make sure nothing is sticking out at all. If you have any lights make sure the edges in the 2d view arent sticking out. Also make sure they are completely touching, and only the visible inside parts are the sky texture (the rest should be caulk)

uhm i added these values to a worldspawn brush, but i cant see any changes

the skybox has the caulk texture on all faces except for the inside faces
the edges of the skybox are completely touching

and btw i got a problem with doors, they arent opening like the should do, a normal door opens like this: _ (closed) _| (opened)
but my doors open like this:
_ (closed)
_


. . . . . | (opened)

edit:
i just made a map with a room and added a red light, but i cant see the light in the game
