I play promod only. So as Bezzo said, Ak74u is the only one worth using.

Promod has scopes which have no sway (Because they're buggy as hell in normal CoD4). Sniping is piss easy in promod.

Like I said, scoping in CoD1 takes the most skill. Scoping in CoD4 is piss easy. Again, because there's no sway.

Everything is hard if you have equal players though, but you need to be a much better player in CoD1 to snipe properly (You couldn't hold your breath, so it all came down to precision).

And I've scoped against proper people. My clan was ranked first on Roundbased Match during the MoH era for 2 months (On Clanbase) and we did pretty well in CoD1 too. But eventually we switched to another website (Like CB) it was full of cheaters and assholes. Managed to win 1 cup a long time ago against a high ranked team in Europe (They also played on CB).

So yeah, I think I've played more games pretty high than you Hoogie so I know what I'm talking about But our clan went pretty meh during CoD4 when lots of people left for personal life and stuff. Not many left now, and I don't mind.

CoD4 is the only game which I haven't played at a high level. Had a few games with PEds and Atze a long time ago though. But now I'm rusty and rubbish.

Snipers of equal skill in CoD1 are much better than those in CoD4, because there's a sway that you can't controll, in CoD4 it's just a steady scope. That's why I'm hardly ever impressed when I see sniping in CoD4 videos, because it's pretty easy.

Either way, because it's easier for your enemy to be any good at it - you need to be VERY quick with good strategy / positioning.

Ofcourse I'm not saying it requires no skill, just saying it requires less skill than in CoD1. Still fucking challenging though.

CoD2 was the game that I did most of my sniping, and it was kind of in between on that game. I used to go to sniper only servers and get mental scores
