Thx, and ...yeah I know. Is it easy to port such a map from cod2 to cod4 ?
If yes, I'll buy CoD4 in the future and port all the unreal maps I've made thusfar.

CoD4 in itself is real fun to play imo. That's one big reason already

It's not exactly hard, but getting it to work in CoD4 is pretty hit and miss. Even though it SHOULD be backwards compatible, don't expect it to work flawlessly(as witnessed with my two ports).
On an unrelated note, I've started something in CoD4Radiant. Let's hope this one works!

You can buy keys online for around €15 if you want I can send you a link where I bought mine. I bought it a year ago and it is still working so it looks safe

Bought my copy on steam for 12,50.
Didnt like steam, so I let it install cod4, opened up the "change keycode" menu, wrote down the keycode, unistalled steam and reinstalled cod4 using that key
Works perfectly fine
LMGTFY!
Its not a glitch... Its the future!

When I buy it I buy it in the store or online. I hate copying games (and I don't do it).....fucks up the whole PC-gaming industry.

What fucks up the PC gaming industry is companies expecting customers to pay for shit games followed by shitty DLC content and not providing a demo.

That too. But the biggest problem imo is that mainly because of the downloading the developers now develop for the consoles first and port to pc. What we get now is console graphics and gameplay (don't get me started on IW net) on pc.

Piracy does NOT
cost the industry anything directly.
And the movement from PC to console is not a piracy debate, its cost effectiveness.

Also True.
I can go on and on debating this but I won't, I have some mapping and scripting to do

Pirating on console is just about as large as on PC, plus consoles have a lot of renting, meaning less actual sales for the developers. Consoles are easier to develop for because generally speaking the console audience is easier to satisfy and it is infinitely easier to create a game that only has to run on a single system than any combination of hundreds of different parts.
