The X Files

Post by [SoE]_Zaitsev » March 23rd, 2009, 5:38 pm

Back in the mid 90s I've seen some episodes on TV. I just started watching them again (Season 1, 1993) and man these series are good :)

Already watched 3 in a row (They are approx 40 mins each in length). Can't understand why I didn't do it earlier because the series are good. Atleast... better than the movies.

Maybe we're all living inside a huge life form which is a trillion miles long .

Woah KS, lay off the crack
that's a nice pic and all, but out of all the pictures you could have taken why'd you take a picture of a plant? :P
-Soviet
Because plants have some really small details. If a plant comes out nice in a photo, you have yourself a good camera ;)
-Drofder 2004
Yes, but if boobs come out really well in a photo you have a picture of boobs

Who knows KS. We have some big ass whales and other sea creatures. Had big ass dinosaurs in the past. And this is just a tiny planet compared to others.

Assuming that we can travel faster than the speed of light which, according to the current laws of physics, is impossible (and also assuming we don't blow ourselves up/get hit by a big meteor first) the mathematical chances of life on another planet are still incredibly low.

God is bigger!

Although true, what is there saying that there ISN'T the possibility of the same thing happening elsewhere.

Consider the size of the universe, then consider, do you think we are the only existence?
I doubt it, but we will never know. Maybe one day, if the Earth/humans survive, distant space travel will exist, but none of our lifetimes will see it, not for many of generations below us either.

Also, we must bear in mind, the potential for Aliens exist, but this does not necessarily mean UFO's and aliens, there is nothing suggesting this Alien life form is simply a small creature being able to live on another planet. Not everything has to be cool.

Do remember, Alien and UFO are general terms, meaning 'foreign' and 'unidentified', not Little Grey men and spaceships.

Normal ones? It's a little hard to define the normality of something that potentially doesn't exist. I do believe in other life forms, but not so much of little green men in space ships. It kinda sucks that everyone stereotypes Aliens as little space people from other planets, why not giant bugs or something. I love the X files show, I used to watch it all the time, and I've been watching the repeats lately.
