Any good?
Ok I have been practising the strafe jump for ps3 and could not master it so i hooked my ps3 controller up to my pc and gap_training. I got 285 using my ps3 controller and didn't really try to get 286 is this any good or could use some practise ?also fps used was 125

I don't see the point - why are you doing this?
285 is OK, but you can do much more with a keyboard + mouse.

The reason for me trying this is, I play cod 4 for ps3 and want to practise my strafe and i thought of trying on a gap map.

He said he was practising for PS3. Make perfect sense. You get to practice control movement while being able to play on custom maps that PC gamers have been using to test their abilities, Gaps. The President wrote:I don't see the point - why are you doing this?

I am unsure of a 'good' distance, as my jumping days have come to a halt, I stick to making jumpers lives more fun

Thanks, Also you do amazing job on the mod

Re: Any good?
I think if you make 300 on CoD4/WaW you are pro if I remember correctly.
Re: Any good?
you have to start to strafe at 250 for 125 and 250 fps, but for 333 you have to start at 261, if that makes any sense :s.KillerSam wrote:250 = about the limit for a 'strafe' jump. My record is 307/308 (can't remember) and I am not amazing. Not many people get above 310

Re: Any good?
If your trainig for PS3 then you should use 85 fps which is normal fps since you cant change fps on console. Because you'd see there's really a big difference. Anyway good luckblazer wrote:Ok I have been practising the strafe jump for ps3 and could not master it so i hooked my ps3 controller up to my pc and gap_training.
