..about Â£80 of games in steams winter sale, and OMG!!

I never realised how amazing bioshock is

Also been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl, which is pretty damn fun!

Anyway, I've also been thinking about getting some games which I've liked to play like FEAR and Dead Space (Although the last one is relatively new). Haven't come around to it yet. Might also give Far Cry 2 a try.

Far Cry 2 is pants :\ It's the same thing over and over again.

Worth a play or two, but I got bored of it quickly.

I second that bioshock is great. Got it for xmas off sister, glad i didnt rent it instead.

Dead space, meh meh, got it as a rent and im not too into it, might get something else instead. It is fucking scary though.

I heard Dead Space was supposed to be scary!! Is it worst than Doom 3? I couldn't play that game with headphones in the dark lol!

Its a matter of opinion, I dont really play too many scary games, I wasnt too bothered about dead space. I found it one of those games where, you start it up and end up relieved when you turn the game off, but you still want to finish it.

and bw marshall, yes, scary. I almost shit myself when i found out the aliens had a 'play dead' mode

I'm tempted to buy Assassin's Creed - played it at a LAN and it was pretty entertaining, although it has no multiplayer apparantly it's short, so don't know if it'll be worth the money.

I played this at my mates house and its cool, but when i rented it i was disappointed, it became old quick.

As for dead space, after the first half hour it isnt too bad, you understand how it works and it isnt too scary. Still makes you jump though.

You never get bored of mowing down dozens of civillians on horseback with Assassins Creed.

I'm not a fan of scary games to be honest. I fell of my chair playing doom 3 because a zombie made me jump.
