According to JD_2020 the head developer over at Treyarch we can look forward to patch 1.2 within weeks.

This is the problems confirmed to be fixed, there will also be other fixes and additions but he cant confirm what.

Server Authentication Failure
There is no cg_drawfps 1
There is no /record
The cg_fov 80 resets after dying
Players are changing their color names, like green to look like a teammate
After Prestige, server will say "Primary grenade 0 is invalid. Setting to frag" in red text.
Co-op servers do not show up correctly in server browser, many players have difficult joining others as well
Name tags show through walls (Crosshair goes over enemy, they go behind wall, name shows for a second)
When quitting game, blue screen pops up and restarts computer

Edit~ looks like the link broke sorry guys...

So looks like bayonet jumping is safe, for now at least...
Now I just need to go and get cod5 :|

THANK GOD THEY ARE FIXING THAT BLUE SCREEN... that pisses me off soooo much.

they dont wrote that they fix the nades(jumps) ... in the first patch and now there are no nadejumps possible ...

Patch v1.1
* Map holes fixed
* Spawn improvements and weapon balancing
they did imply that they changed some weapons and fixed some out of map jumps, but they didn't blatantly say "We're gixing nade jumps" whereas on this update, they didn't state that they were fixing anything related to a certain bug with any weapon, weapon attachment, or even map bugs. But there is always a possibility that it will be fixed :wink:.

Well like i said i've not got it yet... so i wouldn't know :(

I thought that nade jumping was fixed for retail that's why i assume bayonet jumping will be safe?

Get in, quite a few of those issues were pissing me off, and it's good to see that demos will finally be available shortly :P

The only problem is that people have already found jumps, so it's going to be hard to give credit to people for certain jumps...

There's so many jumps been found now, i could record many and say i found them but would i get the credits, I boubt it..??
Credit should goto the people who have already made and done jumps and already have them recorded on fraps.

New Records of jumps when the patch is made ,should still be made, but told, WELL DONE ito the jumper , but tell them it has already been made, how ever credit the person for still doing the jumps.

If i recall somewhere in thie forum. It's told even if a jump has been done the person should still be credited for manageing to do the jump thereselfs or finding simular ways of doing the jumps. As if they are new to jumping, then it's only fair to say Well done to that person and credit them for there Efforts.

I think there is many more jumps to be found and made, so relay credits come to those who find them and post them inthe future, And remeber, there goingto be many new Custom maps to come, so credits are to be give to the mapper, and to them who finds and records jumps on those new maps.

Yes, and there will be complaints by the plenty.

This next comment should be in CJ chat but whatever.

My opinion:
We credit the person who recorded the demo (or performed in the demo) and IF a person can provide a link to a youtube of the same jump, they will ALSO be credited (in other words, both players will gain credit. One for recording and one for finding).

Do we have a winner?

Nobody can own a jump. Thousands of ppl do jumps and we cant not be sure a demo really show the discoverer. look at the crazy 360-guys...they discover all out of map-"jumps"(Skywalk is mostly PC-Gamer reserved). in my opinion dont give credit to anybody. Just make demos to entertain us and we all remeber u as a good jumper

I agree, but people are DETERMIND to get credit :? So they might stop sending jumps etc...

If every1 meshed all their jumps together and no one had any credit, society would break down and soon the world would turn into that book "Anthem". CREDIT FTW. but Ultra is right, No body can "own" a jump, but they can be credited for finding it :wink:,
