It is a different style of film.
The film is not about football violence, it is about gangsters, people who rose from hooligans to drug pushers/dealers and to gangsters.
It is a good film, but I wouldn't say it was in my top 10.

Well even the start of the film about him starting out a football hooligan is better than Green Street. The train scene is amazingly directed, the surgeons masks creeped me out. I do like Green street though.
