help with crash jump - the real easy one :(

hey guys, im having trouble making the jump from the washing line to the heli (which bounces you up to the roof)

i would of thought it was easier than the pipeline bounce, but i was wrong! i do the pipeline bounce first time, but i always seem to miss the heli in crash, i reach it maybe 1 in 30 jumps. i have 125 fps during the jump also.

i attached a demo of what i do, im hoping someone can give me tips. ive watched youtube, the codjumper videos/demos. but im just not getting it, everything else i try i seem to get after a few attemps, but for some reason this one just isnt working for me

p.s. the guys who do these youtube vids (the codjumper release ones) are just amazingly good, you make it look so damn easy!

It's a lot easier if you RPG jump to it. Practise it with RPG first, and then when you can do it try it without.

Try turning more when you strafe (90 degrees from the helicopter)

will try, but i tend to epic fail when it comes to rpg jumps lol

It's a very hard strafe jump. I also have issues reaching it. It's certainly not as easy as the Pipeline bounce

im trying to find a certain spot where i can strafe to it, at least 1 out of 5 times

once i get my jump spot sorted i will figure out how to bounce in the right direction ahah

i like to match my jump spots up with certain characteristics of the map, like in pipeline i line up with red dots on the roof they dont have to be exact, just guideline spots. has anyone got any of these for this crash jump? or is just me that does this stuff? :p

After you bounce, remember to crouch at the top!

OMG!!! i have to crouch, its been puzzling me for ages when i make the bounce why i couldnt get on the wall LOL

EDIT: i hate you lol, how easy did you make that look, i watched it 10 times in slow motion lmao but you seem to go about 5 ft higher than i can ever do. you using 125 fps also or more?

Yep, 125fps. That bounce is easiest with 125 (and I'm pretty sure it's not possible with anything more).

You can make it easier for yourself to switch to 333 before bounce, that way you are sure to make it

FINALLY!!!! i did it!! i was having trouble jumping similar to u in the demo, so i tweaked my jump and got it to work

now to do it nearly every time lol

well I'm back

i have the bounce sorted(ish) now, seem to do it at least 1 in 3 times, its just getting on the wall that seems hard now for some reason

i uploaded a demo (again), can u see what im doing wrong? im not sure if im crouching too early or late maybe?

Just crouch after you bounce.

Try going left as soon as you hit the bounce (and maybe even before, that's what I do)

But it's a really annoying one, if you shoot rpg after bouncing it makes it easier
