ok looks like ya still have to go into the menus via B-4-1 to select RPG then back to Menu to select gun
It would be far better if you have the RPG as NO/6 on keyboard like CJ's Mod.so you can switch between the gun & RPG much quicker.

dude for me this mod is brilliant the fps thing is cool i get 250 constantly atleast with that and cool how able to go in 3rd person view bit anoying about rpg but a feature i would add is the green s&d bombs things but in all great mod gj :lol:

Like I said, I was bored, and so I thought I'd might help you guys out with a new mod. Don't use it if you don't want to. I used to come to your servers a lot, so I wanted to give something back.
Keep this mod personally scripted
Really? Yea mate, I saw the post with Deano etc. I have been scripting for nearly a year now, run a popular tutorial website, teach people and work on fairly large mods and have ties with other major modding communities. All my scripting is original and I NEVER copy anyone's work. So please don't make a conclusion that I'd do something as stupid as that ok ?

Alright back on track... I am a nice guy & honestly don't mind continuing to work on this for you guys, but tell me now if you want it or not, otherwise I'll leave & you can go on happily without it.

I't sounds like a great mod, I haven't tested it yet. I say you should keep working on it, and people can make the choice whether or not to use the official CJ mod, which could be 100x better, or 100x worse.

Yep, I checked into the code myself due to fact it looked very suspicious of 2 jump mods released one after the other.
The code is different (although I will admit some of it looks similar to one of the private unreleased mods that only CJ team have access to :P)

Did I give you permission to do that? I can look at other peoples source code too if I want, and it's easy, but I don't because I respect individuals rights to original source code. You know if that wasn't a mod that would be illegal since you're reverse engineering :x

Well, it's not, and I'm sorry you think it looks like it... I coded all that in about 3 hours, and grow up, I don't copy other peoples work. And what is it with you admins here at this forum? Can't you just respect a fellow developer, instead of criticizing his work?

Anyway, for the rest of you, enjoy the mod, and keep posting features you'd like to see.

As it stands however, our official servers will run our official mods only
Well, my offer still stands, if you want to make this official, I give you permission to, and I will still add your logo etc if you want, or any other feature you require. I'm a nice guy, don't think of me otherwise.

I had sufficient enough reason for me to check out what I believed to be potentially a collaboration of stolen material in your mod. THAT is what gives me the right to check the code. I did not copy the code, neither did I copy anything out, I merely checked it.

I did not reverse engineer anything, I did not save any exe's and I only checked what was MY PROPERTY. Shall I go into detail of why I did not break any laws?

1. I accessed MY computers MEMORY.
2. Any details that are stored in MY computers memory is MY property.
3. I did not, copy or reproduce any material, I used my legal right to READ the memory.

Please do not bring all that sort of crap up, because it will get you nowhere.

If you REALLY respect the individuals rights then you would be happy for the fact I have given your mod the all clear. Not only have I given you the all clear, I have allowed other people to happily view your mod without question of anything being copied.

The part about it looking similar to private code was just a mere reference, I did not say you stole it or copied it, because that would be IMPOSSIBLE, it is a private UNRELEASED mod.

If you want to crawl up my arse and piss me off, continue, otherwise accept my POSITIVE CRITICISM and continue scripting.

Dont start criticising the admins here, we have supported every modder that has come along, and still do, but due to recent events we are now doing our or checks to make sure we are not being taken for fools.

Alright then, we're at agreement.

I am sorry for some of my comments, its late here and I am tired. And Drofder2004, I understand your point, and I'm sure you're not about to steal any code from it, so then it's fine. Anyway, if you guys like my mod, I shall continue to update it.

As for the Cod Jumper team... I am a freelancer, so if you wish to use features/source from my mod in your "official" mod, give me a shout on Xfire (exsolvedh3), and I might help you guys out if you need another programmer.

OK, well, at the moment I gotta fix a smallish issue with the HUD elem message center. So version 6 will be out soon.

2 things that i hated about the mod, the "punish" function for attacking other players. gets very annoying when people are trying to block you while ur doing an rpg bounce. I got so annoyed about that, that i left the server :x. the 2nd thing that i didn't like was the z_far part of the superfps command. sometimes i couldn't see where i was jumping to for a bounce :x. but, besides that its great! If i were to add anything, it would be an option to jump with a gold deagle or atleast a silver one :).
