Sound Card Issues on COD5 & FRAPS

Post by steveuk » November 5th, 2008, 3:50 am

Hay all.
ok i kinda been having issues with recording with Fraps on my PC, no sound comes out when i record and play back the video.
The Sound card is built in, and ive tried everythink possible in configuration issues, but sill no go.

I added a 2nd sound card a SC5200 PCI card 5.1 stero, sounds good won speakers, but i still had issues trying o get sound to record on Fraps,in game... After messing around for like an hour ive not managed to get sound recorded in fraps in game.BUT
When i play it back in Windows media player the sounds is way out of sync, like 5-7 seconds.. so when a gun fires, you dont here it for 5-7 seconds later...lol

But if you play it in DivX player the sound sync is only like 1-2 seconds out... So i need to know what i should do to get it perfect, so the playback sound is timed in with the game recording, whne the gun is fired the sound of the gun matches on time..

anyone got any idears. Ive gone through all the settings, on sound card configuration & on FRAPS. So what should i try next.

OH by the way i set the game as, Playback onboard soundcard, and Record on PCI SC500 sound card. Dont know why onboard wont record.??
