Happens alot, it's not the mod its normal CoD. Happened to me alot of time. This is how you do it.

One... Shoot kill the person and when they die the gun drops. Before it touches the groung hit F to pick it up and your gun you had will be floating.

It works both ways cause when i did it ididnt come from dying. I know what you are talking about but this one is a bit easier to do of course it doesnt matter, it doesnt accomplish much its just funny.
