Graphics Card Question

Post by Coontang » September 13th, 2008, 2:42 pm

hello guys.

Im wanting just a pretty basic upgrade from the 6600ve card (512mb) to a very budget-friendly card.

The card I am pondering about most is the 8600GT which i can pick up for £40.

My system is a 3300+ sempron rated 2ghz, ive got a gig of ram. Power supply is 400-450W i believe.

IF anyone has any suggestions, please hit me up :D

Well i was running COD 4 on a 7800GS without fail, i upgraded to a 8500GT XFX Card and it runs fine..No Problems.

im running a 4800+Duo-core system with 2 gig of OCZ ram, oh the 8500GT is also 512mb card

Thats the only thing, i dont want to upgrasde my CPU because its quite difficult, i dont know anything about 939 sockets and whatever, so i was just thinking about a quick card upgrade. Not to be best on the block, but just as one of those updates that make things easier,
