Dizzy.. the 8800gts g92 is about 5% faster as the 8800gt for about 20% more money.. Also.. compared with the hd4850 .which is 30-40% faster as your GTS, costs as much as an 8800gt.
8800gts (even if it has only been released for half a year) is outdated.

Ye, you can do that with both.. gts probably a bit better because of the dual slot cooler, but you will never get +40% by overclocking.

No. Im claiming that the hd4850 is a much, MUCH better price performance card as the 8800gts g92 atm.

Well I got my 8800 GTS G92 for 150.00 so if it beats that then it looks like I ripped my self off.

It would be USD because he lives in America. Which means yours is equivalent to basically 200 USD, therefore, nvidia wins again

hd4850 costs about 170 dollar, new.. (I suppose you bought your gts 2nd hand?).
Anyway.. 20 dollar extra to spend for a 30-40% increase.. I have to say that ati wins this time tbh.

I know you are an ATI hater soviet, but there is not getting around it this time.. ati has the upper hand atm... Dont think that I am an ati fanboy now, because infact, I never had an ati card in my life. But ati simply has the best line up with there hd4xxx.

I actuly hate ATI to much that my computer came with an integrated ATI(not my nice one at my moms) and I actuly just bought a whole new mother board because it had an ATI on it...

I bought it new from newegg.com it was on sale plus a mail in rebate...

Well.. If u hate ati its a different matter. Just think its a waste to buy a less good price/performance card just because you had bad experiences in the past.
Easy to speak for me ofcourse, I never had an ati card so wouldnt know why I should hate it
