Was just browsing an old hard-drive and found this old config script for jumping on CoD, this may or may not help with CoD4... (all commands should still work, but the timings may need adjusting)
Code: Select all
//This is a ledge-jumping script (for jumping around corners, ledges & obstacles) feel free to share it around if you like it.
// Left jump (butchers windows etc.)
seta Ljump "+forward;wait 35;+left;+moveleft;+moveup;wait 15;gocrouch;wait 15;-moveup;wait 40;-left;wait 100;-moveleft;-forward;-gocrouch
bind , "vstr Ljump"
//Right jump (axis side harbor ledge jumps, etc.)
seta Rjump "+forward;wait 35;+right;+moveright;+moveup;wait 15;gocrouch;wait 15;-moveup;wait 40;-right;wait 100;-moveright;-forward;-gocrouch
bind . "vstr Rjump"
// HF.

Thought I'd post it...

Is it really that hard to jump around the ledges on Harbor?
lol.
Seem pretty pointless if you ask me.

Worthwhile posting, ledge jumps can be very tricky (I don't think I ever successfully did the Butchers one).

At first it was a command that made you jump as soon as you got to an edge (like right before you fall off) and was completely amazed, but then I saw that it wasn't
It's still cool and could be very useful to people that aren't so good at jumping!

It's helpful for CoD1, it was pretty hard back then when you had to crouch jump a 90 degree corner >_> It's useful on Harbor but it's not needed, it's mainly for those windows you have to crouch jump out of to reach the ledge on the left of the window. Butchers house ftw

You're behind several years
But it's not that bad... Some people still play Medal of Honor.

Hackers still play Medal of Honor*
I went on Medal of Honor about a year ago to see if it was still alive, and this server was just full of wallhackers. It's quite amusing though, because pretty much everyone there has a wallhack and they know that everyone else does. It's kinda like a "see who's the best at cheating" game

It's surprisingly entertaining, but then you realise CoD4 is much better and close MOHAA.

If that's true then the only way to win is by being aggressive
Or by climbing on rooftops etc and pwn them from there
