i tried to do a strafe jump many (believe me !! ) times and only got a few successful but i am happy about it

i just want to ask something..

i press forward + left and then i jump but.. i was wondering if during the jump i have to press left button or its its not necessary?

I press it in the air.. and you CAN make sideways movement in the air, just not as effective as on the ground.. The amount of effectiveness of moving in the air is determined by your fps.

does ping counts at strafing?!

It shouldnt matter really, allthough it is harder to time when exactly to jump. at 200 ping it does get a bit awkward. And more ping will probably make it harder and harder.

I've always jumped much better on my own server where I get 0 ping. Like AI said, it doesn't directly subtract from your distance, but a low ping makes things easier.

It's really easier to jump with 0 ping. But if you have a low gfx card like me, you can't finish mp_piramyd ( irrelevent oO )

Couldn't even get 125 FPS in Pyramid at the time... Makes jumping less fun.

if u can get 76 fps in that map, when looking up or down.. It is technicly possible.
I used to be abled to get 60-70 fps on that map, when looking up or down, but when searching for the right spot to look at I was abled to do all jumps anyway... That was with a ti4200, dont think many cod2 players have a much worse graphics card.

I have something about 500fps does it help me more than 333? Should i limit it to 333 I can do strafe on pipeline with this damn truck, but i cant do this all the time. Sometimes it works sometimes not. Btw i'm from Poland usualy i cant undersand your shortcuted words..

The best numbers of FPS for jumping, are 125, 250, and 333. The pipeline one is easiest with 250 fps

and dont worry, i know that when i strafe jump, i can feel that i am moving faster. when you do one, you should be able to tell
