Hey all. Im new to the forums and I play cod 4 and trying to learn how to do some jumps. Just a quick question, which is better to learn on...cod 2 or 4?

Welcome to the forums, I might actually suggest cod2. In CoD2 our servers are much more jump map based, and less stock map based. This will give you more obvious jumps to practice, as well as a more experienced community. You will also be able to achieve a higher fps on CoD2 which is a great benefit.

Ok cheers. But im guessing they are American servers..? im aussie...so might have lag...idk, but dloading the maps will still be good and i will be able to practice in offline if to laggy for me.

personally, i find jumping much easier in cod2 than cod4, especially left strafing. I can do alot better in cod2, and the only thing you need to learn is the timing on nadejumps
so yea, i would go with cod2, because thats pretty simple jumping there

Sorry one last thing. The servers for cod 4, what are their IP's or where can I find them on the website.

main page, center in the gray box, right below where it says 'download jump maps now'
