Greatings!
First off I want to thank you all for the content of this site.

What I am hoping to gain some insight on is regarding intermittent server crashing.
I am running the zzz_Auto_kick_killer_v1.5 with a handfull of jump maps I have downloaded from here.
I have run this mod on several different servers, both windows based and Linux based.
I have been plauged with intermittent server crashing and the duration it will run is a variable.
There are no mistakes in map_rotation in that I can map_rotate through the complete list and all maps run.
I do believe there must be an exploit that clients can crash the server with. I have several reasons to believe this.
I also seems to run better on Windows (amazingly) than Linux boxes.

My following questions are as follows:
1) Do you have an opinion about the maximum number of custom maps that may be run and allow the server to remain stable?
2) Are you aware of an exploit that will crash the server (aside from the call vote exploit)?
3) Is there some other mod that performs simularly to the Auto)kick_killer mod
(the messaging in it is nice and the save / restore position is nice and it preventing killing are the main features I am looking for

I typically will have to reset the server several times a day, and less but still too often, with the client console disabled.
I have been running servers for several years now, so I do not think it is a nub issue with config, etc.

If you really want to look for another save mod, then I suggest you download this one.
It's a lot simpler than the AKK mod, but it was the original.

I would check the log files, to see what was happening before it crashed - it might flag something up.

Oh yes I assure you I have. The results vary. The unexplained events yeild nothing other than an arbitrary crash. I have g_logsync "2" for timely log updating (and for Big Brouther's B3 Bot on one server) and g_logfile enabled
BTW I've been running COD servers for years now . . I am currently running over 15 servers full time, so.. (in general) I do know what I am doing with servers..but def. don't think I know it all! :wink:
As I said, the logs have suggested there does exist an exploit unique for this jumper's mod aside for a commonly known exploit which I do not wish to disclose publically
But I am really also questioning the stability of this Auto_kick_killer mod.
So feedback on other servers' experiences with this mod and the max number of custom maps and stability would be helpfull along with responses to the 3 posted questions in original post
