I get my results on 16th July.
They will almost certainly not be great (they were hard exams). The main thing I was aiming for when doing them was to get more than 40% in each of them (that's a pass) so I can continue to next year
If I fail 1 I've gotta retake it next year (as well as doing all my 2nd year modules). If I fail 2 or more I've gotta retake the 1st year (don't want to do that!).
If I do pass all of them (which I'm quietly confident I have done, kinda
) then the worst of the 4 modules is ignored, then an average of the remaining 3 is taken and that's worth 1/9th of my total degree (i.e. fuck all i nthe grand scheme of things compared to 2nd and 3rd year modules).
They will almost certainly not be great (they were hard exams). The main thing I was aiming for when doing them was to get more than 40% in each of them (that's a pass) so I can continue to next year
If I fail 1 I've gotta retake it next year (as well as doing all my 2nd year modules). If I fail 2 or more I've gotta retake the 1st year (don't want to do that!).

I had my last exams today. All 5 of them. 3 Biology papers and 2 Theology papers. It made for depressing revision (or lack of).

I got my exam results back in may, around the 30th or 31st. i did decent.

We take the concept we learned and apply it to a random situation. And we have to find out what you are trying to ascertain from the multiple paragraphs worth of information. Oh, and those are the easy questions. The schools here are so fucked up that oftentimes you weren't even taught the material you are being tested on.
So you have harder questions than answering stuff you never learned? Wow. That can't be easy to make.
