fps problem!

Hey,

Okey I have problems whit my fps! I want to have it at least capped 125. My pc is one and a half year old, and when
I bought it it was a good pc. I think my pc needs to get at least 125fps capped cause it isnt bad pc!

Atze already tould me to change cfg file and puut settings on lowest what I did.

Anyone can give some other good advice? cause now I get whit com_maxfps 125: 125fps in sky, 100fps to ground and
40-50 fps in front of me! Its really anoying, cause I jump that much, and for most jumps yuo need at least a good
capped 125fps. And If I use rpg I get always in red 10-15fps!!!

Any advice is welcome!!! But I dont think I go buy some new pc- parts! for the reason that
I don't have the money now

Than you really need to save some money.

Do u know ur pc specs, because the discripition you gave wasnt very accurate

I have 4*512RAM so that is 2048RAM
grafic card: Radeon X1300series
motherboard: 8KTrition series motherboard supports AMD Athlon 64 processors
CPU:AMD athlon(tm) 64 Procesoor 3500+ Speed:2.21GHz;2GB
and I have windows XP

In sted of my old post I would buy this:

Motherboard 119 euro

AMD Phenom Quad core 9600 179 euro

4 Gb DDR 2 memory cooled passively 99 euro

a good 8800 GT 235 euro

SO in total 600euro?

Good or not???

im surprised u get over 40 fps

THe problem in your old pc is the graphics card.. x1300 is not meant for gaming.
The new pc u had ur eye on is very good. It will get u high fps.
