Bounce Objects Archive
I've been thinking about holding an archive with screenshots of all bouncable objects in the game.
I figure if you can bounce from the van in Pipeline, and that van is in other maps, it's bouncable aswell.
What do you guys think ? Posting screenshots of all the objects with arrows pointing towards the area of the object where you're supposed to land for a successfull bounce. Since I'm not such a great bouncer, nor in exactly knowing where to land on, I'll be needing help.
If we can get all objects listed here, it's surely going to help people bounce on the objects, and finding possible new bounces because they know that object is bouncable.

Re: Bounce Objects Archive
bad idea. I'm research some .... "facilities" of bounce glitch and i have some results:
bounce glitch is possible on ANY object ! Brush or model, doesn't matter
But this place (i mean small area) must be about 45 degrees or above.
So, i thought about one interesting place. I'm trying bouncing on him and i''v got it ! =)

Re: Bounce Objects Archive
So you're saying that a solid object, which might be very small... Doesn't matter, might still be bouncable ? Even if the object is just very very very tiny ?

Re: Bounce Objects Archive
Your demo is not evidence of your statement.
Firstly, I am sure what you are jumping on is a model, not a brush.
And secondly, the poles that you are bouncing off, I am assuming (with mapping knowledge for my assumptions) that the pole is built in the shape of a hexagon. Hexagons have exterior angles of 60 degrees.
Maybe about time proper research was done?
---
Edit: Just rethinking something, while doing some minor research, just remembered something...
All models are clipped with brushes...
Further investigation need

Re: Bounce Objects Archive
u can bounce on evryting u can glide off, some object have a very very small part to glide off
i allways get on an object and zoom and go slowly to a corner and see if i glide off so yes its a bounce

Re: Bounce Objects Archive
ok, may be my research don't very accurate and i think bounce glitch degrees must be 30-60
But what about bounce into overgrown map, where u can jump on land around the house, created with "patch terrain" ? There is a brush, not a model

Re: Bounce Objects Archive
Gagarin, that bounce has already been done by some1... I don't remember his name but he started a topic a long time ago saying that he found that bounce in a clan war
