I know what it is. I want to know the exact filenames of the virus that he found (backorifice has only been known to use one filename). Norton has been protecting computers from the trojan for over 3 years.

If I do a full system scan and nothing is found, I do a whole adware scan and nothing is found. It is obviously not on my computer.
And to call someone thick for not knowing a virus from 5years ago is a bit harsh (seen as I have only had i-net for 2 years).

google a program called HIJACKTHIS

then run a scan at the point you usually get problems (or just after) and paste the log here

shows ALL the stuff thats running on your machine.

I know how to use HijackThis, and with using it I have found no problems.

We BOTH have the same problem. But it seems its only CoD and Norton conflicting....

to be on the safe side though, we will go back to Chevron

Chev, do a HijackThis scan (google hijackthis for the program).

i did, i also found nothing, anyway my CoD comeback to life yesterday night and we owned Fx french multigaming clan

any way ty for help all, i emailed norton and they said some stuff i cant remember, ty wocoom for making me dowload crap
