*Graphic image* Worst moterbike crash ever

Motorcyclist was traveling at ~120mph and ran into the back of the moving semi-truck. Truck driver said he felt the impact, and it took almost a 1/4 mile for him to pull over.

This is what he found...Image
These images are posted simply to highlight the danger these riders face daily. My sincerest condolences to this poor man and I only hope this serves to make more riders safer on the roads.

Owned, serves him right for travelling at 120mph on a motorbike - that's just asking for trouble.

Riding motorbikes in the first place is stupid imo, minimal protection. Yes, it's cheaper than a car, but at the end of the day if you come into contact with a car, you've pretty screwed.

I wouldn't say it's the 'worst motorbike crash ever' - I've seen a video of a motorcyclist coming into contact with an oncoming truck and literally smashing into multiple pieces.

I edited the topic title just in case someone sees something they don't want to.

My dad used to ride a motorbike to work. One morning it was really cold and some car on the motorway didn't properly defrost his windscreen and went into the back of my dad. My dad broke 7 ribs.

Also my dads best mate's son was racing on his bike with a mate and his mate went into a conrete support for a bridge and died.

That is really sad, as Peds said motorbikes don't provide any protection. Good call renaming it btw.

A college of my dad brought my dad back to home after work, and 500 meters away from our home his car got sliced in 2 by a 130mph traveling motor cycle.. They both died.

Image isn't really that graphic, and this is far from the worst crash ever...

As for motorbike stories, my brother and his friend were on a bike travelling about 70mph, when a car turning onto the motorway failed to check his mirror, his car pulled out infront of the bike, causing a "t-bone" collision. My brother was thrown about 30 foot, and luckily only come out with a few bruises (although not minor bruises I must say, big'uns), his friend (the driver), was crushed forwards into his bike, crushing his pelvis, causing his pelvis to break in 4 areas. he was then thrown head first into the windscreen. The driver not only crushed his pelvis, but the impact of him pushing against the bike, caused the bike to half in length (a complete write-off).

Although both survived, the driver still suffers from back and pelvis pains.

So it happened after your dad was dropped off? In which case, surely there were 3 people on the bike on the way back?

I can ensure you that's never happened, it's always been people accusing me of doing things I didn't do!

No, no, no... My dads co-worker dropped off my dad with a car and then drove on to his home.. Then a motorcycle came and drove through the car of my dads colleague.
The motorcycle had nothing to do with my dad and his colleague untill it drove through the car.
