lol your card is either faulty, your brightnesss is down, there aroud 20 lights in that map as the sunlight was going throgh correctly thats why there around 20 lights, and here the images from my PC untouched from when i made map yesterday.

This is the brightest parts.

This is the Darkests parts.

So you call that dark.lol mmmm well how bright do you want it to be bright as the Sun.??, Maybe i should put the sun on top next time maybe..???

Well im off out wont be home till tonite of to visit my mom..

THats all nice and stuff, but I cant see any light at all. Completely dark, black, nothing, zip.

shall i send you the .map so you can see just how many lights i did put in.lol
dont know why you cant see nothink when i can, even killersam can see at least somethink..

I tried it with my profile where I have all settings at the highest, and then I could see something, however it didnt show like the screenshots, all lights were red.
Besides that I could walk through every platform.

lol how the hell can you walk throgh the platforms, ok it happened to me at first i thought it was down to doing the collide thing by misstake, , so i deleted all the platforms and remade them then posted the test map after checking i can jump onto them, so there only 1 verswion not 2 and you have the same copy as me, and i can jump on and over to platforms, not walk through them.

So somethink weird is happening .

Did you try my JumpZone map.? can you get on the platforms there, yes i know it's dark in some places, but i compleated the whole map without getting any errors, and used night ision in some parts, made it look cool using them realy..lol

I may just give in on jump maps for a bit untill i see more people makeing them and then i can get the real things of strafe jumping, then maybe i start again in the near future, my next map will be a battle one like my Quiet village, but a bit bigger.. Did anyone played mp_chk_snipe_village on COD2 one with the big house & the church & bunker in middle of field.?? i may try and make one simular to that but it required tunnels, and i dont know how to make tunnels,Dtches, and Bomb crators yet, so i need to find a tutorial on that and learn tunnel making first.

Steve just try to map your room/house for the beginning - get the sizes etc and get used to the tools and jumpmaps should have a theme

and not plain one platform after the other

I could jump on mp_jumpzone, platforms worked fine.

@ lev. I partially disagree about the theme thing. Its usually nicer to have theme idd, but good maps like bitch did not really have a theme. Its not a must imo.

those have also something special and I think this little thing makes em good maps
