Removeing Radiant help

Post by steveuk » January 27th, 2008, 4:09 am

Is there a way to totaly remove Raidiant and any REG files it may leave, then unpack it again freshly.
Im sure im not getting all the files & folders, as i uninstlled it today and i know i had the Start-point on the script putdown menu, ,now i have installed it again im not getting the Startpoint or several other scripts.. Why is this.

Also when doing maps, once i say it, and then leave radiant for a bit, then restart raidint, it starts to load the saved map then just crashes out and stops working. i have to remove the map im working on to restart radiant again..What the F*ck is happening to my radiant..

Any help info by Professional Radiant users please leave here

What ya mean.??? you copied the whole cod4 folder, 4+ gigs and put it else where on your HD, then run Radiant from there.???

what i mean is im not removien Cod 4 just Radiant, i need to clean it compleatly, and install again as all maps i start to make, as soon as i save it, and turn radiant off, when i restart radiant, it starts to load the map, but then crashes out, and if that dont happen, then if i save the map as a mp.demoname when i exit and renet radiant again that to crashes the progeam..

Im just realy totaly getting pissed off with radiant now, i started several maps, 1 im trying to work on had ground, church, house, van, walls, and a few extra bits, every time i save it, and try to open it radiant crashes..even if i save as differny name and try loading it that way still crashes

Whats causing these problems.??

Hay.,
I ried somethink yesterday and now think i have it working again. i wentto Regedit opened th registrys and deleted them all, all i could find, i then clicked Radiant, it loaded and opened, most test maps i worked on still didnt work, but a few did, so least the Radiant dont crash now, if it does i just re-delete the registries and start again.
