Post by helium » January 9th, 2008, 3:16 pm

I got this program today, and I just need to tell you guys that it's incredible. THese are my first 2 pictures made (I'm working on a video now)

First one: Image

Second one: Image

Note that I made EVERYTHING myself. Even the sky texture, and the sand texture.

I was supposed to make the "hollywood" thing on second pic, but helium style ofc. didnt notice that the sand was too low until it was too late :(:(:(

I suggest you use Maya 8.0 for the Modelling, ZBrush for the Texturing and Cinema 4D for the Animation

I tried this program ages ago, found it really hard to use but at the same time impressive :) Will have another go at it, I'm sure there are more tutorials online now than before. I know that you can transfer files from Photoshop, like your own logos etc. to make them 3D and manipulate them.
