Great to hear an update from you, we're keen to know what's going on with this.
If that's true then why are some maps heavily clipped in areas of little or no exploit risk?fourzerotwo wrote:Finding a cool way to get on a ledge or roof where you can easily be killed just as easily as killing other guys is fun in our eyes.

In CoD2 you seemed to be very much anti - any roof jumps ;/ Even if there was no advantage, almost every roof jump clipped or had a trigger put by it.
Probably the most pointless kill trigger ever; at the back of butchers, in the tree. Jumping in that tree gives no advantage what so ever. I've no idea why it's there...

Most spots which are blocked off due to the deahtriggers are mainly strafe jumps or nadejumps.
Not everybody can do them.
So a person who has never heared of CoDJumper might not even know about strafe jumping or nadejumping and are wondering how they came onto that spot.
Although I personaly hate it myself I do believe it's there for a reason

Thanks for the update, 402. You have to understand how keen these people are as well as I, 8 pages and we are still on topic, that is possible a CoDJumper record
CoD2 was very anti-jump after the first patch, but we also have to remember, that alot of those places led directly to the very exploitable areas, and most of the jumps were nade jumps (which, is very unrealistic for gameplay). Hopefully with the jumpers going out to do some work with IW, they can help decide what is and what is not a jump which should be possible.

the single player will be awesome. Ive seen the sniping mission, looks great. But not much shooting
Also the multiplayer i believe will be very .... different to what ive imagined. It looks fast and maybe...slightly unrealistic. I hope it has a good conquest type mode, over a huge map, like battlefield 2 but a lot better

I saw the gameplay movie a few minutes ago and it looks pretty much the same (except for the graphics and weapons ofcourse) as CoD2.
- Same nade sounds
- Same kill-avater (When headshooting)
- Same Death icons
- Same breathing and HUD changes red when hit
- Same deathsequence
- Same "get over the wall" icon
- Also a killcam (I like it)
- Also an airstrike like in UO.
One weapon even sounds the same as the German weapon (Mp42 I think) of CoD.
I'm also wondering what that +10 or +2 (what ever) means when you kill someone ?
And one thing I realy like is the Kill-streak message. Liked it in UT and still like it
What I don't like is the minimap in the upperleft corner, hope you can turn it on or off or change the position.
In a nutshell, I like it
