Viruses in your e-mail

I'd just want your opinion about this.

As you know if you are on a forums you can get a PM (doh). You can also select an option that when you click it, you will receive an e-mail with the notification that you've received a PM from some forums, doesn't matter, just any one.

Now I'm getting quite a lot of these fake e-mails where it says that I've received a new PM from an e-mail address I don't even know and it's pissing me off. It seems these idiots are getting smarter but they need to become a little bit smarter for me to fool in it.

Anyone else getting this crap ?

yeah, I am getting a ton of Viagra ads from killersam, and other people. Unless they really are sending it.

Nah, I used to get a LOT of them, but the amount has seriously dropped for me.. Hardly any anymore

I get a lot of junk from aicaramba I also get a lot of general junk, most of which goes in my junk mail folder thankfully.

In my CoDJumper.com "mailbox" (inside thunderbird) I receive anywhere between 20-40 emails a day, of which most are spam (often, all).

most commong are:
-Viagra/Impotence Cures
-Weight Loss
-Replica Watch/Purse
-Cheap software
-Greeting Cards (big intake of these recently)

Luckily, this is always moved to spam by the filter.

2 x Destiny
4 x Drofder

Yep, according to the emails, I sent MYSELF an email about a luxury watch and 3 emails about doctors and pills.

Damn Drofder, I barely get any e-mails. But if they are false it's those mentioned at the start of the topic.

My father has some good spam protection.

the way id do , is if you recieve these wierd emails, just send them back. Thats what we used to do with those annoying somethingorothers that camp in the post, and they never sent any back unless you mean theyre actually coming from ie. Killersam or whoevers actual email address???
