This happened with me. I got an email saying i would get another email when i was activated, but i never did. so i just tried the site..and it worked

maybe some of these people havent discovered yet?

It makes it look better if there are more geniune people who are registered. Also if they ever have the urge to use their account? I didn't use mine for over a year i think.

Indeed, I wouldn't want to delete some of the users because it shows just how large community is (including people who made an effort to sign up on the forums).
