Levelshot help

i am trying to make level shots and they never work. i make a folder called

levelshots/dd_arena then put my dd_arena.dds in there

could somebody help me?

for vCod. and i think i figured out the prob i didnt use dds converter i just changed the last letters. lol

You only need a top level directory folder called "levelshots", and then you place dd_arena.dds in there. You don't need an additional folder of your map name inside it.

Like so:

maps
- mp
-- dd_arena.bsp
levelshots
- dd_arena.dds

ok thanks. nightmare helped me. but he didnt show me what was wrong with my converter it keeps on failing. and the attributes ARE 1024 by 1024.

what are you using for converting it? photoshop or dds converter2?
