Errr... rather than you all jumping at the chance of a little depth into IW, why don't you support the community by not helping IW.
You're the glitchers they want to prevent, and you're the glitchers that want to help them.
Rather than jumping into something on all fours, think about what your doing..

its a shame we cant stop them seeing it lol... would leave a lot of gaps open in the maps.aicaramba wrote:Idd. we must not jump for them, then when the game is released a lot of jumps will be found. And IW will block all jumps from our site with the first patch.
Dont think that will really matter tbh. We didnt jump for cod2 yet they blocked most the jumps ^^

You totally misinterpret the point of this.Marshall wrote:Errr... rather than you all jumping at the chance of a little depth into IW, why don't you support the community by not helping IW.

If we wait until CoD4 is released and no jumps are found, as soon as we find jumps IW comes to the site, takes all the jumps, produces a killzone hotfix away we go again.
If we help them before release, the community gets a little extra praise for helping the game be glitch free, there are several thousand people who usually hate us suddenly realising we are NOT about ruining the game.
If the mappers in CoD4 wanted to, they could block everything, make all clips in the map touch the sky, they could clip every little possible chance of a jump, but they dont, its a time consuming effort to do something we can be selective about.
If you DONT want to support IW, stop making Harbor, as every custom map, is a way of supporting a game.

Its not being shitty, its being honest.Marshall wrote:... No need to get shitty with me.
CoDJumper is not trying to destroy IW with our jumps, we don't want to be the guys who ruined the game (which in many eyes we are), what other way to prove the theory wrong, CoDJumper is about jumping, and exploring maps, finding glitches in the game is about stopping the game from being ruined by our jumps.

Hey guys.
We're not anti-trick jumping. We love it when you guys find awesome jumps we've never seen. The only stuff we don't like are glitches that give you players an unfair advantage. So finding an invincibility spot, or finding a place you can't be killed but can kill others. That stuff ruins gameplay. Finding a cool way to get on a ledge or roof where you can easily be killed just as easily as killing other guys is fun in our eyes.
So the guys who help us out will be more helping us find harmful glitches to Multiplayer, not ruining all the trick jumps, because we typically leave jumps in as long as it's fair.
As for an update, Thanks for all the submissions we still plan to bring out a few of you guys out to help us, I'll keep you guys posted.
