Specs To Achive 125? or even 333?

hey guys, I was thinking of savin up some money a get a new comp, my question is, does any1 know some specs I should aim for inorder to achive a steady 125 fps? thx for your time :D

Well. if ur gonna buy a new pc, I think its hard to buy a new pc that does not reach steady 125 fps on med. graphics. If ur only thinking about upgrading, we need ur current specs.

As for specs, we need your budget if we want to give u some usefull asvice. Also, do u build ur pc from loose components or do u want to buy a complete system.

well, i was thinking of just getting parts for it, my budget, i dont really know, something from 200-400 dollars

my specs:
Windows XP
SP2
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1600 MHz
1.61 GHz
512 RAM

really what im looking for is, wut really makes the fps good? Is it the processor? The RAM?

Ehhh, The graphics card mainly, but if the components around it are slow it will slow down the graphics card aswell.

Do u happen to know what motherboard u got? Or what socket motherboard atleast.
