Sirs:

Forgive me if this question is redundant. I have looked in the forum for a specific answer but no luck. I have been working diligently on my strafe jump to moderate success. I can do it from time to time but it is not cosistent enough to use in game. I think I need to view your strafejump tutorials before requesting one on one help but I am unable to view them via the ~ + / demo route. I can view everything else I've download to the demo file execept that. Could someone please help me resolve this so I don't bug members with obvious questions.

Hm, I just noticed that the strafe jump tutorial is only for cod1. I think it would be nice if ai or zaitsev uploaded the cod2 version to.

ai is best at strafing so if he wants to create one I'm fine with that.

The gap strafing doesn't really count though, you're not using that method for any jump but if you want you can take a look at that and practise it:

Download the gap record by ai.

I highly suggest learning how to strafe first. This is a complicated way of strafing and is best learned when you can already strafe decently.

Indeed, there are different techniques for normal strafe jumping and very long distance gap jumping. It's best that you learn the normal method first before you move onto more advanced techniques.

What are u all talking about, this is cod2. I made it because on the site there is only one for cod1.

Kinda weird, coming back and having played quake and quake-ish games:
What we're calling strafejumping is in fact a circlejump.

strafejumping
circle jumping

I meant it to be uploaded onto the site(y'know, where the strafe jumping stuff is), because not everyone joins the forums at first. ^^

Apparently there is no CoD2 strafing tut and he asked if anyone could create it. I'm just stating that you're best at trying to make one instead of me. I directed Wiredog to the gap strafing because that's the only 'strafejump' we really have on the site as far as I know.

What's so strange ?

Zaitsev, u might want to check the link I posted AND quoted earlyer. And u will find a perfectly find cod2 strafejump tutorial.

I didnt say you should check it lol. I meant that, 'cause ai took the liberty of making a cod2 stafe jumping demo, it would be a shame if the demo went to waste, so I suggested uploading it to the site. (The demo only lasts 7 days on YouSendIt btw
