when i try to start a new server, so i can pratice my jumps, it says script compile error? can anyone tell me why, i use to be able to start myown server. Is it because i dl demos?

Probably an old mod or some form of mod that does this.

If you could post the whole script error it would help.

An instant fix is to reinstall cod and probably an easier one than removing any amount of mods you might have installed.

Most common one you probably have is CoDam - make sure you delete any files that look like mods (be careful not to delete files which were installed with the game).

Files that start with ZZZ are mods, you can delete them or remove them from your main folder. Then it will work again
