ok u didnt used much effects only one the whole movie over this isnt so good i think

perhaps take a look at "The Dark Prophecy" or "Decerto" on http://www.planet-movies.com
to get some further ideas but the kills are very sweet

i havnt even touched the movie with adobe after effects.. and autodesk combustion ..

and to many effects ruin a movie theres plenty of effects for me i wathced a movie and they use way to many effects spoils watching it.. even balance
