This question has been brought up, and I kinda think we should remove them..
Can be very annoying with people nading on easy jumps, nading just for fun, to annoy other people and so on. The only use is on jumpmaps with nadejumps. But that can be solved if the mappers start place out nades where the nadejumps is. But tbh, I really dont know, if we should remove or not, so therefore I made this poll, so the community can decide..

Voted YES!
Nades lag me a lot, with naders there is no way i can get 125 fps.
If mappers place nades at the nadejumps from now on, there are only few maps we're not abled to play anymore.

voted NO!
jumpserver without nades :O :? that sux ...
ALL the jump maps which are out atm are easy and boring (cuz they all are played too much) and the cod2 mapper dont seem to be very active ... :cry:
and that is the ground why i like to play STOCK maps!!! and im not the only one ... much ppl wanne play stock maps cuz the jump maps are played to death ... and stock maps without nades isnt fun ...
plz dont disable nades! or i must search another jump server .... :roll:

p.s. @ destiny the next time when a stock map is running at the server, plz let the map run and dont change the map to wanker cuz u dont know any jumps there ... we havent voted the map for free ... :evil:

and @ ai u can do nearly all jumps in the jump maps on groms server without 125 fps .... and if u wanne do gap training and u dont get 125 fps on groms server then u can go on localhost ... or kick the nader ...

I will try and setup this week a way of removing all nades on-the-fly, so no server restarts or map restarts...

May even try and make a "individual" nade remover, so you can remove someones nades for the rest of the map.

I voted YES to remove nades from Jump Maps.

But nades ARE needed for stock maps or else stock maps become pointless to jump on.

I think it would be a good idea but lots of work for the mappers to redo the maps which have nade jumps. Sometimes I get annoyed at someone throwing nades all the time, but lately it's not happened near me. It lags me aswell.

Great idea but would that mean an administrator needs to be on the server? Maybe enable a vote where the other players can kick this person when they've thrown an excessive amount of nades :?:

I was thinking more along the lines of map specific cvars.

Jumping gaps on a localhost is boring, I dont have savemod and in case of a record I dont have any witnesses (which i do want).
I can do nearly all jumps in every jump map without 125 fps, oww, what about 125 fps heightjumps (nearly every map) and castle_hard.

I could kick all naders, but then id be spending 16 out of 20 min. finding out who is nading, looking if its not really a nadejump they are nading at, warning them and kicking them.
And when i finally kicked them, they return to the server within a minute and start over again.

Drof, plz hurry :P

It would be awesome if we could turn off nades for specific maps. That way we can turn off nades on jumpmaps without nadejumps, and turn it on on stockmaps+jumpmaps with nadejumps.

I think thats nades should stay. Codjumper has a nade jumping tutorial. If a user wants to nade jump, that can be his forte. Theres no saying that he has to jump like ai caramba. No one jumps like ai. Not even ai. I just think if you remove nades, your removing a jump option that Codjumper has on its home page.

I was thinking along the same lines as atze...but then again we never seem to have any stock maps on the server...so i voted YES. People nading on gap is just annoying 8)

They are, but that problem will be solved if mappers place out nades where the nadejumps are..
