Groms Server Is Down

Post by Xeon » April 14th, 2006, 6:13 pm

Im sure you already know but Groms server is down :( This means that if people from the UK want to jump they have to go to 9mm's server which is laggy for people from the uk (hosted from USA)
Please try resolve this problem :P

We don't have any power over the server being up except grom, he owns and pays for the servers

Well, I AM going to host at least one server for you guys. My renting time went out for the cod1 server, and I cba to pay for a new month when the map tools for cod2 is right around the corner as we speak. But, I have actually got us a new CoD2 server (setting it up with stuff atm) So by the end of the day, the new server ip should be up on the homepage, and the server fully up and running.

Plus, I have also got us a 16 slots TS server (included with the server), IP and details will be added later on.

I hope this isn't such a bad idea, hopefully most of you guys will be happy about this.

Grom.

Thank you, it is greatly appreciated :)

Give me the details to put up on the site when you are ready (although seeing you have ftp access you might want to do it anyway ;)).

As for us needing a uk cod1 server, I think that's pretty self explanatory... there's no need to create a poll for it ;)

Good server...
Played there occasionally, allthough the amount of available maps is outdated.
