Savemod help...

Post by Wicker » April 15th, 2006, 3:30 pm

Since i installed the patch, the save-mod doesnt seem to work when i start my own server. And also, the new kill-triggers arent there, so i dont know which jumps are possible anymore. Anyone know why? oh and i still have scr_saveposition 1 in my cfg so i dont know why thats not working...

The mod is simple. All the hurt triggers are run in a weird way (they are not actually hurt triggers at all o.O). They just wait for people to touch them then "self suicide();". Simply comment out that line and no deaths. (I was going to do this myself until my PC died).

Really, thats all they did? I thought that they actually added the hurt triggers in the mapping process.

They added something, but not hurt_triggers... They could've EASILY just used clips but they are just being a little childish making it so jumpers die :/

Indeed, I had nothing to do with the mod. I was only explaining how they worked :P
