Vote: Blacklist Bagration

Post by woCooM » February 5th, 2006, 11:55 pm

The question Should Bagration be blacklisted (banned) from the community?
This would mean a perm ban on all our servers now and in the future, and his access to the forums removed!

This is not a light choice for the community to make as the CoDjumper community has been open to anyone since day one, so please put some thought into your vote and make sure you read his posts etc...

Bagration has been a black sheep since he appeared about two months ago, most of our visitors know him from his hugely popular thread about his "freind" Stirlz who was going to hack and 0wn the CoDJumper community.
Personally i feel he is unfit to be in the community, his language and attitude towards other community members is foul and should not have to be tollerated by any one!

The vote will end on Friday and the final choice is with you the community

CJ Team members please dont vote here

yes, from day one he has constantly been intruding and dissrupting the peaceful atmosphere of the community, he has been given many chances and has refused each chance with continued bad behavior. Such a member only hinders the community, and thus i believe he does not have the right to stay.

Judging by his posts he certainly should be banned. But funny thing is I was in the server a few days ago and a CJ Member was chatting to him as if they were best friends.... :? Go figure.

I dont think thats its up to us (The members) to decide if he should get a ban.

thats why god made Admins.

And i certainly am not going to read back all the stupid thing he wrote,
he's not worth my time.

so just make a decission and stick with it.

the idea was the community gets the choice rather than leaving it to us admins, we dont wanna disgruntle the entire community by taking the choice on by ourselfs, if the community want him to stay and we ban him, it makes us look bad and evil.

personally i feel its better that the communtiy can vote on this issue

Well there are only 2 admins here, peds and destiny which make the final decision, but "the members" or the communities input is most important imo to come to the decision. so if most of the community don't want him banned then i think he wouldnt, even if the admins want him banned.
If the admins didn't listen to the communities opinions then there wouldn't be a community, thats why they're giving everyone a chance to vote and give an opinion.

I think it's a good idea letting the CoDJumper.com community as a whole decide what to do.

Sorry to go against the tide of public opinion but unless the little fuck-wit is actually damaging the site with his hacking chums, then I am all for free speech! Let him have his say - if it's so ridiculous, then he will be shot down in flames.

Apart from anything, I liked it when your boy Rince hacked him good and proper - now that wa fun.

So, unless he has actually done something to screw up the web-site, I'm a no.

no, but he has advertised, provoked, and given critisism without support. I agree, free speech, but he does not have the right to come in here and insult every member in sight with no reasoning, spam the forum with advertisements, and threaten, even if they are empty threats

He's put a stop to that though in my opinion.

Besides which, it has to be a majority vote (not just the highest number wins), so it could still go either way.

im sure you know all about that hambones

and peds, even though he has stopped now, it does not change what he did in the past. The CJ team gave him multiple chances to cease and cause no further disturbance to the community, but he has failed in that aspect. Thats why i believe we should carry out this long delayed and well deserved punishment
