For some reason, my Call of Duty multiplayer doesn't work. Every time i try to referesh the list of servers, it just says "Waiting for responce from master server."

erm installed/downloaded any new mods on CoD?
check Call of duty/main and move anything that haz zzz_
then see if it works, if it does just move the mods back one by one untill it stops working
also check the net for the activision server name (the master server) and check your cod is trying the right one (if it aint just delete the config_mp.cfg and start the game (you'll lose all your settings)
most likely its a mod tho (m8 has the problem loads with a mod that kept downloading from his fav server)

Virus Scan. (Have you done one?)
AdAware Scan (Scanned for malware/adware?)
ISP Problem?

Router is more than likely your problem. I'm afraid I dont know much about them, but I would imagine its something to with port forwarding (google).

You will need to allow the router access to the game. If your cannot get connection from a certain port, then you need to have that port forwarded in your router... surely?Luke wrote:You shouldnt need to open ports on a router to join a game thats mainly for hosting servers when u do that...
what firewall have u got, and are u on windows xp? maybe u have a separate firewall and xp's firewall is blocking it without u knowing, or vice versa.
