COD2 Strafe Jumping

Hello guys,i'm new here

I have a problem with strafe jumping in COD2 : I dont know how

Is there any trick to practise it ? (like 2 boxes to jump on,like in practise area on mp_jump)

just try some easy jumps like the one i carentan on the chickenfenche

ok...

another question : when i try connect to the COD2 codjumer server i get : Awaiting Connection...36,37,38,39,....

and under that this : Awaiting Key Code Authorization...

On other servers i dont have this problem...anyone can help me ?

for some reason your computer isnt able to connect with the server. Nothing much you can do about it besides pressing escape and attempting to reconnect as far as i know

1 easy one and 1 hard one.

I didnt give any explination of the jumps, cuz i strafejump the same as in cod1. So if u need any help u can download the strafejump tutorial here:

Its just a good spot in a CoD2 map to practice ur strafejumping.

I did it with low fps so the jumps in my demo might be easyer with 125 fps.. The easy strafejump might be doable without strafejump if u have 125 fps but am not sure.

About strafe jumping in CoD2, it's very similar (if not the same) to CoD1 strafe jumping (in my opinion).

or the server is offline at that moment, if a server is ofline u get the problem with awaiting.... 38,39. Think thats his problem cause the codjumper server is offline sometimes.

Yeah, occasionally the servers may be offline, although most of the time they are running fine.

Grey Fox, the best way is to probably practice strafe jumping in CoD1 on a jump map, then use the same technique in CoD2 and you'll see that it does work. That's if you have CoD1
