Error* file not found :(

Well first of all, i would liek to say hi to everyone, its my first time on this site :)

anyway, im trying to watch the demos, and i put the dm_1 files in my COD2 "demos" file (i created it) then i got to console, and type /demo carentan-nade4 (example) and the file isnt found. i tried multiple files but it say they dont exist :(

any suggestions? thx in advance

check your demos folder, it should be under C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\Main\DEMOS. If that is in the right location i am not sure. You should be lucky im in a good mood or i would give you the post I gave another person the other day :P

yeah my demos folder is in that exact same spot :(

and yes i have read that topic *over and over*. i cant figure it out

Mm if the folder is oke then it must be the name of the demo.. I see it's "carentan-nade4" rename it to "a.dm_1" and then start the demo /demo a.dm_1 let see if that works!

no. do not add .dm_1 while typing it in console. it will not work (the game will look for a file called 'a.dm_1.dm_1')

Simply put the demo in the required folder and make sure it is a dm_1 file. If it is zip or Rar then unzip or unrar it.
