Hi!
Some screenshots of my new jump-map!
(.ZIP includes 7 .JPG screenshots)
The map is very light, don't worry thats because I haven't put any light balance in it!

Looks nice m8 - when you've finished it send it to
pedsdude@codjumper.com and I'll add it to the download page
The #4 screenshot isn't very clear tbh, but other than that the rest looks good

Hi,
I worked whole day on the map & tested it.
If you are a regular jumper you need 8 á 10 minutes to complete the map.
I only have the .bsp file - I don't know how to create a .pk3
The funny thing is that I also don't understand tutorials at this website and
http://www.modsonline.com ..

Modsonline sucks. come here instead

(unless the question is too hard, then go back to modsonline

)
Anyways...

There are more tutorials in the mapping section.
I have a bad feeling you havent used Caulk

Ohwell, check some tutorials on caulking and detail in the mapping section. It will improve the performance of future maps

How do you mean caulk, I started with everything in caulk and after that I gave it a texture. The outside isn't caulk either because im using that for "map-training"!

Well, it may be Caulk (if it is, then I will be very pleased

) From experience of mapping and the way some maps look, you can normally point out the "non-caulked" ones. Carry on creating and maybe beta release it, then I'll give better feedback

The brushes you CAN'T see are caulked (for example two walls who hit eachother) but the side's you CAN see have a texture!
Update:
http://files.upl.silentwhisper.net/uplo ... remap1.JPG
This is the whole map ( I might add some rooms..).
I gave the outside a grey texture so you can see it better - don't worry i'll caulk this when the map is 100% finished!

Caulk is not for making invisible walls. (And I guess you mean clipplayer).
Nice work btw Coldfire, glad to see people using caulk correctly.

Hi!
I have some problems, when I try to compile my map it says "pause" end than it closes instead of creating a .BSP file.
I'v looked in the whole maps for bugs but I haven't found any.
