**COD2 Demo Special**

Post by De$t!ny » September 29th, 2005, 12:01 am

as i promised yesterday, here is the demo to get out of map for cod2demo click me

WARNING 64mb and does not work for everyone!

use a pistol for jumping as you run faster

Image

follow the numbers to get out of map, and check explanation below.

the building you first see in the demo is the building for the 2nd mission objective. 1 - for the first jump i used jumpcrouchjump to avoid hitting the roof, although you can do it without it. jump from the yellow/brownish ground, not the sandbag. 2 -once you are over the wall and out of the map i first show you that in some spots you can glitch back into the map, after that i show you that you can crawl under certain buildings. for the next bit where the long wall is, you must jump round about where i do. you will find yourself in a weird glitch where you slide around really fast (if you jumped up high enough) so keep going forward (wow what a fun glitch). if you find yourself not having enough speed then go up any small mound, then turn in the opposite direction and you will pick up speed, you will see what i mean ;) once you get to the end, go uphill then go downhill and try to jump out of the glitch. once you've done that jump over the glitched wall (maybe u can just walk through it i haven't tried). now you can walk outside, and soon you will come to a split in the road. right leads you to death as u will see, and left is the way you came at the start of the sp demo in the truck. you can walk all the way to the end of the road leading left if you wish, but after a while don't stray off the track or you will fall under the map to your death. enjoy exploring the rest for yourself, since i had to make the demo as short as possible :p[/b]

Demo isn't working for me :( . Dunno if destiny used it in the demo but I figured out how to get noclip and cheats.
1)Enable console in options menu
2)Bring down the console and type the command "spdevmap"
3)Have fun 8) . Noclip ect works pretty much the same except you cant use JUMP to go up in noclip mode.

I tried it all except that one, funny thing though when you type /devmap trainyard (or another map in CoD2) it loads the SP demo :)

Nothing special just downloaded it and put it in the demos folder and opened it with /demo destiny.
I couldn't watch the Soviet demo, that one crashes me to desktop ?
Have no clue what the real difference is :?

I think due to the filesize, the game is being overworked (its trying to load 65mb of uncompressed info) so is simply crashing. Sometimes your pc may be able to load it. I would guess that the demos are a major bug that IW are gonna need to fix.
