fps switch help

Hey guys,

First at all I know how to FPS Switch, but I got a Problem on a server

Normally I can FPS Switch with the normal command, but on that server I cant switch from 125 to 250

It rises short to about 150-160, but than It goes back to 125.
First I thought It cant be higher than 125 on this server, but some people told me it works but I need a modifed FPS Switch or something

Any of you guys have an Idea?

Not to mention some mods. I seem to remember promod for instance doesn't allow 333 and I believe it doesn't allow 250 either.

It allows 250.

But yes, it sounds like the server prevents you from a higher fps and this 'modified fps switch' is probably a way around it. Like you could use 333 on promod, considered cheating though.

They have limited you fps.

There is a way around it which is to change the dvar com_maxfps to con_maxfps. The server config wouldn't recognise it this way but I'll just mention that its not allowed :p

Just do some google or youtube work to find a tutorial on how to do it you'll need notepad++ and then edit your iw3mp.
