Does anyone else miss all the old codjumpers like The Dude, and the president, matty, MpC etc ...... i remember watchin them and sayin those guys are awesome lol... wish they were still jumping..

I do, the community is pretty shit now, it was so fun back then because I was new to codjumping and couldn't really do much, people would try and help me, and when I would do simple stuff, I'd be amazed. 2009/10 were the best years for codjumping imo

Yeah we all have our own "Good old days" so you can't really use the term to cover a specific period of time or group a number of people. It's just another form of nostalgia for the individual.
For me I guess it was 08-09 on PS3, when we all used to play OS mode and were clueless to the strafe jump. We were just sprint jumping.

We all know it's normal that old days seem better than later ones. 2008 better than 2013. 2005 better than 2008. 2000 better than 2005. Maybe it only seems so. But I would give almost anything to watch what I was seeing with my eyes (physically) years ago. So, record your life with a camera to watch it when you're 70 years old.

For me, the 'nostalgia' period is back in CoD1 playing on jm_crispy and mp_jump without a save mod. Particularly a few bitch jumps towards the end of mp_jump where you'd spent the past 10-15 mins getting to a spot only to mess up the jump!
