dm_3 files

can any1 tell me how i can take a video and make it a dm_3 file ?

use the search button man. been asked a million times ^^ but you type into console, /record and then to stop it /stoprecord. in UO this willl automatically be a .dm_3 file, as for COD, it will be a .dm_2 file. then to watch them, open up the console and type /demo <demoname>. so /demo demo0003.dm_3. no , im talking about i have a demo that i recoded with fraps , how can i make it into a dm_3 file 2 watch on cod instead of windows media player ?

You can't, the only way to get a dm_3 or dm_2 file is to record a demo ingame.

ROFL! sam, i was supposed to move it ;( but i said it in my post and didnt rofl. anyways, if you recorded it with fraps, it will have recorded as a .avi and to make a .dm_3 the only way is to do what i said in my previous post.

Just use the /record option in-game, it's better then Fraps. But harder if you're planning to create a movie.

no just record over it with fraps, its easy that way you dont lag when playing
