I mostly fail like the first 2 jumps, then i often do it correctly like the 3rd try in the video. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, and why I sometimes do manage it, and sometimes not. Can someone shed some light on this?
Also, if I manage to do the bounce, I cant reach the the other platform, why is that?
I would be glad if you checked the clip and tried to help me

Okay I'll try that, thanks

125 fps constant
Pedsdude wrote:Make sure you're using 125 FPS. And as a$ce says, be sure to change strafe at the bounce, it gives you a moderate amount of extra distance.
One other suggestion I would make is to start by facing away at a greater angle than you currently are.
Okay, I will try it
Changing the angle doesn't change things, I mean, I still sometimes jump far, and sometimes not. I guess its something to do with my technique
Thanks.

Try close to 90 degrees away, as demonstrated in this tutorial video:
Obviously it's not as big a distance, and you don't have much of a run up, but basically a quicker version of that. Combine that with a strafe change and you should be able to make it (from the one of you hitting the bounce, I reckon you should be able to do this jump relatively easily),
If you're still having trouble, I'll make a video to show you what I mean, or I could show you in a server.
