My friend wants to buy a PC
And he found this:
http://www.dragoncomputers.nl/component ... /vmcchk,1/
Would you guys consider that a good deal for the price? Keep in mind that he can't assemble his own PC.

Re: My friend wants to buy a PC
i cant exactly read half the page but 3.4ghz for 399 is pretty good
Re: My friend wants to buy a PC
I would say that that is a pretty good price. Only thing is the low amount of hard drive space. 300gb isnt really all that much. Also, athlon II processor is an older architecture, but 3.4ghz is a pretty high clock. The Gpu here is the 6790.. a low budget gaming card that will be able to handle most games on medium settings on lower resolutions such as 1280 x 720 up to 1680x1050. Certainly enough for 333 fps on codjumper if he used fullbright on some maps.

Well he won't play CoD4. Just your general gaming PC. I was just curious if he got good money for ordering a complete PC. Thanks for the info though

Re: My friend wants to buy a PC
he could get 333 or stock maps pretty comfortably too actually, maybe even pub
specs on my computer are pretty shit.
i only got 2.7ghz processor and a graphics card which aint to good and i can get 200fps in pub games with lowish setting and 333 with fullbright on my own server on stock maps

Re: My friend wants to buy a PC
Not a bad deal I gues, although I'd prefer building a custom one.
First of all, you save money, which you can invest in maybe a better hardware product?
Second, you'll learn something from it I suppose? And imo it's quite fun to build your own pc

Re: My friend wants to buy a PC
Indeed. I told him that in most cases (Always?) building your own computer is cheaper. But he doesn't agree and cba
